Reunion site selection procedure

By four months prior to the start of the next reunion anyone wanting to chair a reunion will submit to the executive committee the following proposal information:

  • Dates
  • Site
  • Chairperson’s name
  • Committee members (at least 3 members)
  • Activities
  • Approximate costs (hotel and activities)

Proposals should be mailed to Joe Fulginiti at his address in the Redbook. Approximately three months prior to the reunion,
a newsletter will be mailed with a list of the proposals. At the reunion there will be a ballot in your registration packet. The only voters will be battalion members who attend the reunion. There will be no absentee or proxy ballots. There will be a locked ballot box in the hospitality room. Voting will cease at 8:00 PM on the evening prior to the battalion meeting. Votes will be counted by a member of the executive committee (or their designate) and one member of each of the proposal committees. The vote count and site selected will be announced at the battalion meeting.

The executive committee consists of Bob Lain (non-voting), Mike Robinson, Roger O’Brien, Joe Fulginiti and Bob Black.

All expenses and deposits for the reunion must be made through the treasurer with supporting documentation indicating payee and purpose.
